Designed for use with the HeartStart FRx Defibrillator on children 8 years of age or weighing less than 55 lbs (25 kg), including infants.
When inserted into the HeartStart FRx Defibrillator, the Infant/Child Key reduces the energy of its shock from 150 to 50 Joules (J) (a more appropriate dosage) and activates voice and visual instructions specifically for the treatment of infants/children.
